Survivors: daughters, Flora Mae Hightower and Bonnie Sue Smith; grandchildren; sister; brothers and great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m., Friday at North Thompson Baptist Church near Vidalia.

Burial: Church Cemetery.

Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia - Ms. Patsy Thompson Poole Rice, 58, died Wednesday.

Survivors: daughter, Ivey Rice; son, Keven Rice Barstow and other relatives.

Graveside funeral service: 11 a.m., Friday at Holton Chapel Cemetery in Treutlen County. Interment will follow.

Mrs. Doshaleen B. Smith, 79, Obituary

Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Doshaleen B. Smith, 79, of 4564 GA., Hwy 15, Vidalia died Thursday morning August 11, 2005 in The Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a brief illness.

Mrs. Smith was a native of Johnson County and had resided in Vidalia for the past 65 years. She was a retired cashier and homemaker and a member of The Victory Baptist Church of Vidalia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Smith in February of this year.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Vivian Sewell and Vicki Thompson both of Vidalia; two sons, Alan Smith of Vidalia and Ronald Smith of Augusta; one sister, Lyla Fountain of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Gilbert Wommack officiating.

Interment: Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
