Lyons, Toombs County, Georgia, U.S.A. - Mrs. Allie Jack NeeSmith, 73, of Lyons, died April 5, 2006, after an lengthy illness.
Mrs. NeeSmith was a native and a life-long resident of Toombs County. She was a devoted homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of the Lyons First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include, her husband of 58 years, Durward NeeSmith of Lyons; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Terry Bryson of and Carolyn and Rhett Zorn all of Lyons; one son, Doyle NeeSmith, of Lyons; eight grandchildren, Peyton and Pam Bryson, Stephanie and Van Henriott, Doyle D. NeeSmith III and Christy, and Blake Zorn all of Lyons; Emily Branner, Dawson Branner, Tony Story and Justin Story all of Lyons; three great grandchildren, Harley NeeSmith, Bryson Henriott and Dalton Henriott, all of Lyons; five sisters, Robbie Nell Jeffcoat of Metter, Johnnie Will Moon, Peggy Smith,Wanda Mills, all of Brunswick and Gail Hatch of Jesup; one brother, Franklin Riner also, of Brunswick. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held at Jones-Stewart Funeral Home on Thursday, April 6, 2006, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Jack NeeSmith will be held, Friday, April 7, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., from the Lyons First United Methodist Church, with Rev. James Aycock and Rev. Danny Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Vidalia, Ga.
