Toombs County, Georgia History and Genealogy Project

Cedar Crossing, Toombs County, Georgia - Mrs. Joyce Patrick, age 51, of 5768 Vidalia Cedar Crossing Rd., Uvalda, GA Cedar Crossing Community died Friday, March 24 at Memorial Health University Medical Center of Savannah after a brief illness.

A native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, Joyce was Product Development Manager with Savannah Luggage with 27 years of service and was Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry D. and Gladys Braddock, three brothers, Joe Braddock, Jerry Braddock and Jack Braddock.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Freeman Patrick of Cedar Crossing; one special son, Jason Braddock of Cedar Crossing; one sister, Judy Manning of Cairo, GA; and one brother, Jim Paul Braddock of Cedar Crossing and several nieces and nephews as well as many, many other friends and relatives who will love and miss her greatly forever.

Funeral services for Joyce Patrick will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006 from the Ronnie L. Steward Family Funeral Service Chapel of Vidalia with Rev. Brian Patrick and Rev. Ennis Lanier officiating. David Rice and Allen Rice will also speak.

Interment will follow in Harden's Chapel Cemetery, Inc.
